Kódex postupov pre filtračné výdajníky vody
Všetky členské štáty EÚ schválili kódex postupov pre POU (dispenzné zariadenia na dávkovanie vody, napojené na vodovodné potrubie, tiež známe ako filtračné výdajníky alebo filtračné automaty).
Tieto smernice boli vypracované s cieľom stanovenia požiadaviek týkajúcich sa miesta, inštalácie, hygienickej prevádzky, údržby, čistenia a dezinfekcie výdajníkov vody a súvisiacich výrobkov, ako sú napríklad POU.
Tieto postupy sú určené na zabezpečenie najvyšších štandardov kvality a bezpečnosti, hygieny a etického správania v odvetví poskytovania pitného režimu. Dosiahnuť tento cieľ je možné iba vtedy, keď distribútori výdajníkov vody si plne uvedomia svoje povinnosti voči životnému prostrediu a budú dodávať svojim zákazníkom vylúčene bezpečné výrobky a bezchybné služby. V zmysle článku 9 Európskeho nariadenia (ES) 852/2004 tieto usmernenia pre správnu hygienickú prax spĺňajú cieľ zjednodušiť uplatňovanie príslušných európskych právnych predpisov, najmä nariadenia (ES) č. 852/2004 o hygiene potravín.
Prístroje s pripojením na vodovodné potrubie, v priestoroch zákazníka, kde sa pitná voda čapuje z kohútikov, musia byť definované ako potravinárske zariadenia, a mali by byť riadené potravinárskym kódexom. V súlade s požiadavkou uvedenou v smerniciach musia distribútori a prevádzkovatelia pitného režimu spĺňať povinnosť zabezpečiť bezpečnosť spotrebiteľov POU cez údržbu, čistenie a dezinfekciu výdajníka filtrovanej vody.
SWCA (Slovenská asociácia operátorov pitného režimu) spolupracuje so slovenskými orgánmi na implementácii týchto noriem a školí inšpekčné orgány, ako monitorovať, kontrolovať a vykonávať inšpekcie operátorov pitného režimu.
SWCA zohráva dôležitú úlohu pri zabezpečovaní udržateľného, bezpečného a zdravého priemyselného prostredia pre dodávateľov a zákazníkov. Členovia asociácie každoročne prechádzajú auditmi nezávislých audítorov ako sú NSF a SGS. Technici členov SWCA musia absolvovať školenie a prejsť skúškou HAC (Hygienne warehousing course).

Spoločnosť SWCA vyzýva zákazníkov (spoločnosti a jednotlivcov, ktorí inštalujú alebo majú nainštalované výdajníky vody) požiadať svojho dodávateľa o potvrdenie súladu s týmto kódexom. Celý kód je k dispozícii na SWCA web stránke.

Code of Practice for Filter coolers
All EU Member States have endorsed the CoP (Code of Practice) for POU (Point Of Use waterdispensers, also known as filter-coolers or filter dispensers).
These guidelines were drawn up to determine the requirements with regard to site, installation, hygienic operation, maintenance, cleaning and disinfection of plumbed-in water coolers and associated products like plumbed-in drinking devices.
They are intended to ensure that the highest standards are reached in the fields of quality, safety, hygiene and ethical behaviour in the water dispensing industry. This aim can be achieved by ensuring that Distributors and Operators of Water Coolers are fully aware of their responsibilities to the environment and supply safe products and faultless services to their customers. Within the meaning of Article 9 of European Regulation (EC) 852/2004, these guidelines for Good Hygienic Practice meet the objective of simplifying the application of the pertinent European legislation, particularly Regulation (EC) 852/2004 on the hygiene of foodstuffs.
Plumbed-in devices use water supplied from a distribution network, at the point, within premises or an establishment, at which it emerges from the taps that are normally used for human consumption, as defined by the Food Regulations and should be treated accordingly. In accordance with the requirement detailed in the guidelines, distributors and operators of plumbed-in water coolers must recognize their obligation to ensure the health and safety of consumers, from safe connection to the distribution network through to maintenance and cleaning and disinfection of the water cooler.
The SWCA (Slovak Water Cooler Association) works closely with the Slovak authorities to implement these standards and train inspecting bodies on how to monitor and control, perform inspections and follow up on these guidelines.
The SWCA plays an important role in ensuring a sustainable, safe and healthy industry environment for both supplier and customers. Association members are annually audited on their compliance to these guidelines by independent third party auditors like NSF and SGS. More over their technicians need to succesfully pas an HAC exam (Hygienne wareness Course) proving their ability to install, maintain and supply these foodgrade units.
